Meet Josie/Josephine - FOSTER NEEDED!!!

Josephine, and her 5 siblings, were born to a stray momma and a neighborhood

dog. The family that gave them space to be born and fed the momma, decided

to keep the momma and let the puppies run at large on the property and play

near and on the road. Unfortunately, one of the puppies was struck and

killed. The next-door neighbor contacted an area rescue who came to talk to

the family. The family tearfully surrendered the 5 puppies to the rescuers

and agreed to have the momma and daddy fixed.

Josephine is a pretty, brown hound, now 6 months old and weighs around 40

pounds. She is the only female and is one of the largest of the litter.

Josephine is very gentle, playful and sweet natured.

She is not yet leash trained or house broken but is crate trained. She is

arriving
early February
from Tennessee.
