Hello there, my name is Joseph and I am so happy to be here in a foster home. Living on the streets was a not a good place to be and I was so happy to be found. I love being in foster care and having enough to eat and I am just 21 lbs but like to eat like I weigh 220. At first I used to guard my bowl but now I know it is okay, that others are not going to get it. I love to sleep when I am not on a walk or wandering about the yard and I am a pretty chilled little dude.

Oh foster mama said to tell the truth, yes I am chilled but I also like to talk and I have a big booming voice and I can tell the most amazing stories if you care to sit and listen to me. I also have a HUGE bark, but only use it when I hear someone trying to break into the house to steal my stuffies and once I am told it is okay I will stop and be quiet. Okay I sometimes grumble under my breath a bit, but that is okay, it is funny.

I do get along with other dogs, and I am so quiet sometimes you would never know I was in the house, unless you rattle the biscuit tin. I love to sneak upstairs and get in the bed and snooze, and at bedtime, love getting under the blankets and scooting down under the sheets. If someone jumps on me though I will shriek. I am good little walker and will give you my whole heart if you ask and will love your forever. I just can’t imagine why a nobody would come looking for me when I got lost.

I am not lost anymore but I would like to be found by my forever family who will commit to me forever and let me know I am safe and so very loved. I love both mama and papa but I do have a soft spot for papa, cause he goes to bed early and so I enjoy an early night. Oh, I also listen and when you tell me to sit, I will do so right away and lie down. Well you get the idea, I am eager to please and love to give kisses.

I would love to have a family of mine own and who would make sure I am always safe and have a warm bed to lie in and enough food to fill my tummy. In return I will give you unconditional love and fill your life with my stories and my companionship.
