i Friends! My name is Jordie and I am a beautiful Labrador Mix, don't ya think? The shelter thinks I am about 3 years old. I originally came to MaxFund as a stray and was adopted but unfortunately it ended up not being a good fit. No matter, the pawesome staff at the shelter took me in and have been taking great care of me. Now I am on the hunt for a new furrever home!

I am a very active girl who enjoys playing a lot! I make friends so easily and I am even in a play group. From what I've been told, I am quick on my feet and such a fast learner. I know some basic commands but I have the potential for learning so much more if my owner is willing to continue. I am still learning how to be a grade A canine citizen so I need an owner who will be patience with me as I continue to learn. I walk relatively well on leash but do get excited and will pull.

I do get nervous around men and I will bark when I feel uncomfortable. My friends don't know where the fear came from but they are working on getting me more comfortable. My trainer says with time and patience I will be able to work through those fears!

How our adoption process works:
1. You MUST come into the shelter to meet a dog you are interested in (and meet a few others, while you’re at it!)

Our hours are 10-5 Mon, Wed, Thu Fri / 11-5 Saturday / 12-5 Sunday

We suggest you call ahead to be sure the dog(s) do not have pending applications

2. You will fill out your adoption application, including references, after finding a dog you’d like to adopt

3. The application review and reference checks will take up to 3-5 business days; you will not be able to bring a dog home same-day

We only take 2 applications per dog, before they are unavailable. This is why we suggest you call ahead to check the status of the pup!



We do not adopt out-of-state.
