Jolene Pit Bull Terrier & Terrier Mix Hudson, NH

Jolene spent a long time in a Alabama shelter. She had babies in the shelter and the shelter took her babies away from her. She will be spending the next few months in Georgia for her heartworm treatment and will be ready by late summer/early fall. She is shy around men at first but loves to cuddle. FROM HER FOSTER:
She has the meanest bark but she is the sweetest little lovebug (she only barks when she thinks an intruder is around or there’s any possible danger). She is a wigglebutt. She loves attention and loves showing how happy she is. She loves to bend and stretch with her paws out like she’s playing with you. She’s all muscle- a thick stalky girl with short legs. She is the prettiest chocolate color with the sweetest most soulful eyes. She loves cats! And she hasn’t met a dog she didn’t like! She even has come out of her shell and has started to run around and play outside with my dogs. She’s been such a joy and I’ve never had a problem with her since she’s been here. She can stay here as long as she needs to until she finds her furever home! She’s been through a lot! I adore my sweet Joooooo!!

Please note: We do not have a physical facility and the dogs are not located in Hudson, NH. We are a foster-based rescue and dogs can be located anywhere in New England. All adopters must be pre-approved to arrange a meet and greet, and the adopter is expected to travel to the dog's location. We do not transport once the dogs arrive in New England.
