Meet Johnny

Johnny is a a 1-2 year old Border Collie mix who is tired of calling the shelter home. He originally came to us from Tennessee at the beginning of December and he was initially adopted but, was returned due to some behavioral concerns.
You see, Johnny likes to jump a lot and he can exhibit some mild aggressive outbursts. It’s likely because he’s such an energetic and hardworking breed.
It’s in his best interest to find a home that has a lot of land for him to run and be busy. He also needs a family that is willing to get him some proper training so that he can be his best self. We recommend that his new home have no children under 15.
Although Johnny has room to improve, he’s otherwise super smart and we think he’d learn new behaviors quickly. He just needs to be given a chance in the right home with the right people.
