Meet Joey
Meet Joey – Your New Best Friend in the Making!
Joey is a 5-month-old (as of 5/30/25) 35 lb. Lab/Blue Heeler mix with a heart full of love and a mind ready to learn. This smart, affectionate pup is a total charmer and a serious lovebug—his favorite thing in the world is simply being with his people.
Joey came to us after being abandoned outside by a neighbor. Thankfully, he found his way into a loving foster home where he’s thriving and showing just how amazing he is.
He’s already mastered basic commands like sit, stay, down, and come, and he’s incredibly responsive to training—especially when treats are involved! Joey is eager to please and would excel in a home that wants to continue working with him. He’s even begun practicing his off-leash skills and shows great promise as a future trail buddy.
Joey is:
Housetrained
Crate trained (and loves his crate!)
Dog-friendly – he plays great with his foster siblings
Playful and independent – entertains himself with toys
High-energy – ideal for an active household
Super smart and trainable – the sky's the limit with this pup!
Joey would love an active home that can give him the stimulation, structure, and love he craves. He’s the kind of dog who will bond deeply with his people and give back tenfold in loyalty and affection.
