Meet JOEY

UPDATE: 2.16.25: Foster JOEY has been busy working with a talented trainer to help him become his best self ever and JOEY is excelling!!!!! JOEY is extremely loving, very smart and a quick learner. He is still looking for his FUR-EVER family and we know there is just the perfect one out there for him.

JOEY is a 1 year old male shepherd/lab/whippet type mix. He is slender build and was very underweight initially, but is picking it up weight well now. JOEY is a fast learner, aims to please, doing well housebreaking, crate training, and walking on leash. JOEY loves other dogs and is loving and sweet with people. JOEY has black, velvety medium length fur and so enjoys being brushed and bathed. He has been attending day care and has a blast there. He wants to be on the go, so an active family would be best suited, with another compatible dog and fenced yard. JOEY is very curious and likes to explore in the yard, so 6 foot fence would be recommended and should not be left alone unattended while outside.
JOEY had a training session at Wild Child boarding and training facility and did great with the evaluation with the owner Sydney. He worked on walking on long line in the field and on recall and did well. We would love for JOEY to continue obedience training and day care with his new family. JOEY has not been cat tested.
