Meet Joey
**Meet Joey!**
Joey is a sweet 6 year boy heading into his senior years looking for a forever home after sadly losing his human mom earlier this year. He's currently being cared for by one of his moms dear friends and also a loving foster, who can attest to his gentle nature and great temperament. He still is pretty active and enjoys his daily walks.
Joey is a well-behaved, crate-trained dog who loves his crate but doesn’t need to be crated when you're away—he’s perfectly fine on his own. He enjoys the company of non-dominant dogs but would also do well as the only pet in a household. However, Joey isn’t fond of cats, so a cat-free home would be ideal for him.
Joey previously lived in an adult-only home, so we're not sure how he would react around children of any age.
If you're looking for a loyal, easygoing companion to share your home and heart with, Joey might just be the perfect fit.
