Meet Joey

Allow me to introduce myself, I am Joey a male Yorkie mix thought to be between 2 and 3 years old and I weigh 12 lbs. I came to the rescue as an unclaimed stray from a local shelter. I am an energetic and jumpy kind of guy who just wants to play and make new canine friends. I am, however, hesitant around new people but with treats and patience from a new human, I do become a very nice dog. I would love a new home with another dog to help me build my confidence to trust new people. I am crate trained but if truth be known, I am not a fan and will let you know that I do not like being in there all alone. So no apartments for me. I am looking for a home with a fenced-in yard that I can run and play in but that I am safe it too!
