Meet Joe (Seville)

Joe (Seville) ended up at Chicago Animal Control in November 2020 as a stray. We took him into rescue and he was in rough shape - he had lymes disease, was 20 pounds underweight, had an upper respiratory infection, and raw skin on his nose and paws.

Joe is now around 75 pounds, neutered, UTD on vaccines, and housebroken, Joe’s is estimated to be 10 years old. He has very limited vision and only able to see shadows. Joe has hip dysplasia that went left untreated and some arthritis. He is on a quality diet, on joint supplements, and on pain meds. He gets around pretty well but ideally would have a home with limited stairs. He is great with other dogs and currently lives with a cat. Joe is a lover of all toys, especially his squeaky one and will greet you at the door with it. He loves to tug and will play-bite at times. Due to his vision, we’d recommend a family with no children.
