Joe's Story
Meet Joe (we call him Joey), the cuddle bug with baby kangaroo vibes! Joey is a 2-year-old 10 lbs Chihuahua with the sweetest little soul. He looks like a baby kangaroo, and he’s every bit as adorable as that sounds.

He may start out a bit timid, but once he feels safe, he quickly blossoms into a loving, gentle companion who wants nothing more than to snuggle. His favorite places to sleep? On top of pillows, under blankets, and right by your side. He’s also an excellent car rider—quiet, calm, and content to relax during the drive.

Joey is a quiet, calm, and easygoing boy who gets along well with cats, dogs (under 40lbs), and older kids (10+). He’s neutered, healthy, and up to date on all vaccines. He’s crate trained and potty trained. He is still building confidence on the leash, but he’s improving every day.

This sweet boy would thrive in a calm home where he can feel secure and loved. If you’re looking for a snuggly companion who melts into your arms and looks like he should be carried around in a little pouch, Joey might be your perfect match.
He’s ready to find his forever family just in time for the holidays. His adoption fee is $350.

Please use this link for the application to be approved for adoption: https://toolkit.rescuegroups.org/of/f?c=SGVJMGQY
