JLo Gigi was found as a stray and brought to a shelter, dirty, matted and with injuries to a front leg, likely from being hit by a car. Her treatment plan was changed to glucosamine supplements to help keep her joints healthy. She walks with a limp but gets where she is going, she also can jump up in your lap for cuddles. Her foster mom takes her for "walks" in a stroller, which she LOVES.

She weighs about 11 lbs and is ten to twelve years old. She loves car rides, likes to sun herself outside, she is always happy and spins in circles for her dinner. She is a VELCRO dog - she is stuck to you everywhere you go. If you are sitting she is in your lap whether you want her to or not. She is very sweet, she lays her head on your chest like she is listening to your heartbeat. She would be great with a retiree or couple who want a lap dog. She is in a foster home with other small dogs but wants all the attention so she would be happiest as the only dog. She is house trained, sleeps quietly all night, and wakes up happy every morning for a new day. She is not a fan of cats in the home.
