Meet Jimmy

Jimmy is a tall, handsome, 4-5 year old boy with lots of energy and lots of love to give. Jimmy is recovering from treatment of heartworms and he has been a real trooper through it all. He is housebroken and crate trained. He likes to chase tennis balls and enjoys all food and treats especially frozen kongs. Jimmy also enjoys cuddling on the couch! We are working on basic training; Jimmy knows sit and down, but he would really benefit from some more structured training. Currently we are working on taking treats gently from your hand. Jimmy is very food motivated and learns quickly. He is friendly with all people he meets. When he has encountered dogs on walks and at the vet he is friendly, but he can be selective when spending time with other dogs. This sweet boy is looking to join an active family with children over the age of ten and with a fenced in yard.
