Jimmy kid was a stray....volunteers were trying to catch another stray dog that was terrified and traps were set in an attempt to catch the dog.....and....Jimmy walked in the trap! Over a year ago we placed Jimmy in what we believed was his forever home and recently, his current family has informed us that they need to rehome Jimmy. Mainly, Jimmy and the family cat can not co-exist. We have also learned that Jimmy will do best as an only dog. This is what his now foster family tells us what they have learned about Jimmy:
"Jimmy is a happy, handsome guy! He is very sweet and is full of love and personality. He’s a “morning person” and has the zoomies every morning when he wakes up! He loves being comfy and our beanbag is his favorite place to relax. He will “sing” with you if you start a howling chorus. He LOVES playing ball but is selective with his toys and prefers stuffed toys and spiky balls (no tennis balls wanted!). He is crate trained and eats and sleeps in his crate. He is fully potty trained, but at times has regressed in marking if there are changes in the household or his routine. After a bout of gastrointestinal issues, we found that switching him over to a food without poultry works best for his stomach.
Jimmy needs a home where he is the only dog and a home without any other small animals, including cats. Jimmy can be aggressive with other dogs so a strong handler on walks is a must. Jimmy absolutely loves people! He is excited to greet anyone that comes through the door. He is good with children of all ages and has never displayed any aggression towards any children or adults:
