Jewels(ADOPTED!) Beagle & Basset Hound Mix Chicago, IL

**JEWELS HAS BEEN ADOPTED!** Jewels is an extremely tender, sweet, mild-manned, and gentle little Beagle/Basset mix looking for a loving home. This sweetheart came to us from an overburdened animal control facility in Kentucky. She is estimated to be 2-3 years old and weighs about 15 pounds. Jewels is a little timid with new people and in new environments, but she warms up quickly. Some kind words and gentle pats (treats don't hurt either!) are all it takes. Once she's comfortable she is a total lapdog who loves to cuddle. Beagles and Bassets are known for their patient and tolerant nature and Jewels is no exception. We think she'll make a wonderful family companion. Jewels also does wonderful with other dogs, is crate trained, and is doing excellently with her housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. She is spayed, up-to-date with core vaccines, microchipped, and, taking flea and heartworm prevention. Jewels is anxious to meet her forever family, could it be yours?

• Jewel's adoption fee is $375. This fee covers the cost of her spay, initial vaccines, microchip, and initial de-worming. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the animals in our rescue. Your donation also helps save other animals like Jewels from euthanasia. Pal's Place cannot hold dogs for more than a couple of days after an application has been submitted for a meet and greet. Please do not apply until you are ready to welcome a dog into your home.
