Jet Black Labrador Retriever & Plott Hound Mix Allentown, PA

My name is Jet and I'm looking for my forever family. I have many qualities that I believe make me stand out above all others. Aside from my good looks :-) .... I am a professional bug hunter, avid scuba diver and super quiet garbage disposal (for those kids who don't like their dinner and want to feed me under the table.) I love water and spend hours splashing in my wade pool and laying in the water. I don't care for water hoses though and prefer that my water be in a bowl or a pool. I get along with other dogs although I'm a tiny bit shy with new people and new dogs until I can determine what your intentions are. Once we are buddies though, I'm all about playing and being petted. I sure do love belly rubs! Although I've not had any real indoor home experience, I do currently share an indoor kennel with some of my litter mates and we are all doing great with holding it until it's time to go out to the yard. We also have a doggie door that we use to go out to a covered outdoor kennel so I'm doggie door savvy. I am still working on my manners. My rescue mom says I'm not supposed to jump on humans but sometimes I do. I get so darn excited and the thought of getting lots of belly rubs makes it hard to contain myself. Because of this, I might not be the best pet for toddlers as I would probably knock them over with excitement. I am not cat friendly, but like to play with other positive energy dogs after a proper introduction. I also like to chase a ball but people want me to do something called "give it back." I don't know what that means but it sure is fun playing keep away!

I am neutered and current on vaccinations. My rescue mommy says I'm also microchipped and people will be able to help me if I ever get lost. She hosts video calls so we can meet online and you can see me in action! There are transports that can get me to my new family.
