Jester-I2042 German Shepherd Dog Anoka, MN

Jester comes to rescue as an owner surrender in KY. He is currently located in the metro Mpls area in a foster home. His DOB: 8.7.17 and small in frame of 50#. He lived on a farm and apparently was chasing the cattle so the farmer said he had to go. Poor Jester was afraid in the shelter where he was surrendered and did allot of cowering in the corner with tail tucked. He is doing some marking when going to a new home or yard. That can be curbed with a Male Belly Band. He has shredded or ripped up dog beds and comforters in his current foster home in MN. He needs to be supervised and not allowed free access to things such as the ones mentioned above. Chew toys and non-destructive toys would be good to have.

He has come a long ways since being in the shelter but still a bit shy but not aggressive. He has learned to walk on leash and travels well in a car. He greets everyone these days with a tail wag. He is ready to start a new life. His adoption fee is $250.00. He needs a place of his own with a family and an easy going female dog. Only older children please over 16 years of age. He could use a basic obedience class too. He MUST be secured in a 6' fenced yard as he can bolt out of a door, house or vehicle if not secured and watched.
