Jessie Pit Bull Terrier Mix Port Townsend, WA

Hi, my name is Jessie! I am approximately 2 years old. I came to HSJC all the way from an overcrowded shelter in Modesto, CA when my time ran out there.

I am a friendly, outgoing dog who loves people. I enjoy my walks on leash, and playing with toys. I have spent some weekends at a trusted volunteer's house, and she says I like to nap on the furniture and play fetch! I do not appreciate other dogs or cats either, and need to be the only pet in my household (I have very high prey drive). I love people and will give big sloppy kisses.

I am up to date on my DAPP and rabies vaccines, micro-chipped, and tested negative for heartworm (the vet recommends I stay on a prescription heartworm preventative medication for the next 6 months, since I did come from a region that's known to have heartworm).

My adoption fee is $150 (+ $20 county dog license, if residing within Jefferson County). Staff takes applications for all the animals here to find us homes that suit our individual needs.
