JESSI Border Collie Mix Newport News , VA

Meet Miss Jessi. She is the sweetest Border Collie mix you’ll ever meet and is around 8 months old. Foster dads best guess is Border Collie/Lab mix. We’re not sure if she was a stray or surrender but that doesn’t matter because life is awesome for her now. She LOVES people and kids of all sizes. Jessi does well with dogs after proper and slow introductions. She is still working on what is allowed and not allowed with others but she’s learning quickly.

She’s housebroken and is trying her best to realize the crate is for her own good when she’s left alone. She’s turned out to be an escape artist and earned the nickname Pancake so lots of zip ties, caribiners or a crate that’s not a wire crate will work best!

Jessi is a typical young dog that’s had no rules in her life but wants nothing more than to please you. She came to the rescue as a crazy girl but has settled in quickly and is now very easy and manageable. She needs someone that will continue to teach her what is allowed and what isn’t and needs obedience for confidence. Jessi loves to wrestle and chase around the yard with the resident border collie but is just as happy to lay around and take naps if you’re busy doing stuff. Cats would probably not be in her best interest.

Jessi is a really nice girl who is eager to learn and love. She’d make a great family dog or just a companion who will keep her busy. She is spayed, chipped, HW negative and up to date on all her shots. She is being fostered in Newport News, VA.
