Meet Jersey(ADOPTED!)

JERSEY HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Pal's Place rescue would love to introduce you to four of our newest rescues, an adorable group of Cattledog mix pups! These little guys are about 3 months of currently (1/5) and weigh between 13-15 pounds. We expect them to be medium-sized dogs when fully grown (45-55 pounds). While we cannot say for sure what their exact breed mix is, they appear to be Cattledogs mixed with another herding breed, perhaps Border Collie or Aussie. They were rescued from an open-intake shelter in Kentucky. An overcrowded, chaotic, stressful pound is no place for pups. We heard their story and brought these four sweethearts up to a wonderful foster home in Chicago to await meeting their forever families. There are 3 females in the litter, Jersey, Sussex, and Holstein, and one little male pup, Angus. They can be a little timid when first meeting new people, but they warm up quickly. True to their herding breed heritage, these guys are mouthy, extremely active, and intelligent puppies! They are not going to be happy cooped up in a kennel or alone for hours at a time, so homes where someone is home more often than not are going to be the best fit for one of these pups. We are also looking for homes experienced with herding breeds and homes that can provide these puppies a healthy outlet for their instincts. They will be phenomenal companions for very active homes!

Jersey's adoption fee to the rescue is $475. This fee helps to cover their medical expenses while in our care. They are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date with age-appropriate vaccines, and have also been started on flea/heartworm preventatives and dewormer.
