What’s black and white and cute all over? Jermaine! Jermaine is a three-year-old pocket pittie (smaller than he appears) who loves to work hard and play hard. Jermaine would thrive in an active family setting (possibly with a laid back pooch companion). He has undergone an intensive eight week training program to help him make the best choices he can make. He’ll be best with a family with active but also a structured/routine home life. Jermaine, prior to our care, had a nipping incident. We understand the circumstances of the nipping and feel strongly that Jermaine is very predictable and needs to be set up to succeed. If you were to meet Jermaine, you would find him adorable and goofy. He is a love! Jermaine, in a nutshell, has been let down by humans. We know Jermaine is ready for his family now that he has been in our care and we better understand his needs. It is important that this little spark plug is set up to succeed, is in a environment that has a tight routine and his people are both compassionate and active. There is no doubt that this little man will make a wonderful companion. He is a goofball. J-bird, as we affectionately call him, is great on a leash and loves car rides. Jermaine was bounced around prior to coming into our care. He has settled in so nicely with his routine and we are certain he will be a wonderful companion. Jermaine is crate friendly, but not cat friendly. If you are interested in meeting Jermaine, an application is a must. Please take moment to fill out an application: https://www.povertyspets.org/adoption-form, once received, you will be contacted within 72 hours. Jermaine has an adoption donation of $200.
