We will form a line like usual based on who has an active and approved application in. We will go through our line to set up a private meet and greet for potential adopters to foster.

6 year old, male, Mini Australian Shepherd.
Jep has found himself without a home after his family decided to give him up. He didn't have a fenced in yard and he kept running off. Aussie's are active and busy dogs and if he wasn't getting much attention then it isn't surprising that he was running amok! If you have the time and active lifestyle for a sweet middle aged Aussie then Jep is your guy. He will be ready to meet a potential adopter on Thursday 10/8.

Please note, Animal Adoption Center cannot guarantee the breed, composition or ages of our dogs as we usually have no history prior to them entering the rescue. We make every effort to ensure the dogs are healthy.

Please know that our intention is to insure long lasting committed homes for the animals at the AAC. If we feel that an animal and a potential owner are not a good fit we reserve the right to refuse adoption.

-We require potential adopters to foster a dog for at least one night prior to adopting once they have an approved application submitted.
-We welcome out-of-area adopters, but please be aware we do require prospective adopters to come to our facility and meet the animal in person. You may either foster the dog locally in pet friendly lodging (preferably with any other dogs you own) or if you choose to drive the dog back home you agree to drive the dog back to Jackson if the dog isn't a good fit. Before you make the trip we encourage you to fill out an adoption application and submit it, to be sure you will qualify to adopt. Adoption applications can be filled out on our website. We cannot "hold" any animal. We have a "first qualified adopter can foster first" policy.
-We will not ship animals.
