Meet Jenna - VIDEO!
We think Jenna was attacked by other dogs, because she had cuts all over and is scared of other dogs and even intimidated by cats. She would be a fantastic only dog and has enough personality and love for someone wanting a great companion dog. We think in time she may learn to enjoy other dogs.
Here are some thoughts from Jenna's foster Mom: "I'm certain Jenna's life was not good before coming to Happy Tails. During my journey with Jenna she has blossomed and learned so much. She is very treat motivated and eager to please. She works super hard. She is still learning about the big world out there but embraces it with playfulness and curiosity. I doubt she ever experienced a walk, park, or even a car ride before. She is silly, a bit clumsy, and there are times her rear goes the opposite of her head, but it all just makes me smile and love her more. Her snorts and grunts and silly personality are amazing and there is not one day that she doesn't make me laugh and smile. If you are lucky enough to see in her what i do, you will have the most loyal, funny, loving best friend ever."
Jenna is spayed and is current on vaccines (rabies, distemper, bordatella). She has been treated for heart-worms and internal parasites, and is microchipped. Jenna's adoption fee is $100.

Happy Tails Rescue Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit foster-based rescue based in Northwest Indiana. We have no shelter, all of our animals are cared for in loving foster homes until their forever home match is found. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption, including distemper, rabies, and bordatella vaccines, a heartworm test, fecal test, microchip, and are spayed/neutered. If you're interested in meeting one of our animals please fill out an application first. If approved we will then arrange a meet and greet. Happy Tails does not do same day adoptions because we do a short home visit to make sure our animals are being placed in safe environments.
