Meet Jelly Bean:: 3 years old, 35 pounds, Spayed Female Pug mix.

Available for Adoption!

This squishy-faced little lady is searching for her forever home! Jelly Bean absolutely loves taking walks, runs, car rides and hikes. She is snuggly and loves her people very much, she is a very loyal girl. She loves to play with squeaky toys and tug toys and is very well potty trained, will sit, stay and lay down on command.

Jelly Bean was adopted from us in 2019 and her family absolutely ADORES her, but little Jelly Bean had an incident where she was aloud outside off leash and her and a neighbor's dog got into a tiff. Since the neighbor's dog was much smaller and got hurt, Jelly Bean is now being shunned in the neighborhood and her adopters are being pressured to get rid of her.

When introduced properly, Jelly Bean does okay with other dogs, but she is not interested in companionship with them, and may do best as the only dog in the home. Jelly Bean would love to have a quiet home in a rural area where she can enjoy her life making her humans happy!

$145 Adoption Fee.

All Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccinations, heartworm tested, current on heartworm and flea prevention, and microchipped.

Along with other criteria evaluated in the adoption application, a Fenced Yard is required to adopt.

Our adoption area, unless otherwise specified in their bio, is within a two hour radius of Peppermint Pig Animal Rescue for adult dogs, and within a one hour radius for puppies.

Adoption events are held every Saturday in our thrift store from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. Please complete your adoption application in advance so our volunteers have time to screen and contact potential adopters.

IMPORTANT: All applications are reviewed in the order they are received and qualifications are based on best fit for each individual pet. A volunteer will contact you if you are selected for a meet with adoptable pet. Final approval is always made in person.
