Meet Jelly Bean- Adopte
Jelly Bean is as adorable, sweet, and precious as they come. She got her name because she is a "bouncing bean" and literally bounces from a stand still, from the floor, straight into your arms.
She's about 2 years old, and only weighs 12 pounds. She appears to be a fox terrier, which are calmer and much more of a velcro breed than most of the other small terriers.
She's far from being big or fluffy, but she was abandoned at a vet's office with her Great Pyrenees brother, and we couldn't leave her behind. She has now completely stolen all of our hearts, and will make the right person the most unbelievably fantastic pet.
She is special needs because she is epileptic. She takes daily medication for it (which thankfully isn't very expensive), and that keeps her seizures under control.
She is a total velcro dog, and bonds very strongly to her person. She is 100% a lap dog, and feels that she should always be with you, if not in your lap, then at least asleep next to you.
As such, she hates nothing more than being alone, and needs a home where someone is there most of the time, or she can go with you, she loves to ride in the car.
So long as she's kept on a schedule and taken out regularly, she is housetrained and well behaved.
She does well with children, even young ones (her foster has 2 toddlers that love her), so long as they are well versed in proper small dog etiquette, and of course, properly monitored.
She's excellent with other dogs of all sizes (she's not at all intimidated by our pyres), and is good with cats.
