Jeffrey Terrier & Carolina Dog Mix San Francisco, CA

Jeffrey is a perfect age and size, about 28 pounds and 5 years old.

was found as a stray and turned into San Francisco Care and Control. He was very underweight, scared, and seemed to have never been around other dogs. Fortunately, he was gung-ho with all the people he met. He was medically cared for and adopted by Grateful Dogs Rescue where he was placed with a foster.

After a number of months working with him, he has blossomed into an awesome dog. He is house trained, leash trained, treat motivated, crate trained, has no separation anxiety, and knows lots of commands like stay, wait, come, sit, etc. It took some time for him to trust dogs and dog parks, but he now wants to play with new dogs (with some shyness). He's still a bit wary around bigger dogs - though he's making steady strides there as well.

His real love is for people. He likes to play fetch, take walks, snuggle and get scratches, sleep with you (if allowed), play games for treats, and just be an all-around buddy.

Jeffrey is fine with kids. He should have a home with a fenced yard or park nearby and not be alone all day. All in all - he's just a lovely little guy with a ton of love to give.
