JEFFERSON HAS BEEN ADOPTED- We keep his profile active for a short period to make sure it is a Lifetime match. We will NOT be taking applications at this time.

WE WILL ONLY BE PLACING JEFFERSON WITHIN A ONE HOUR DRIVE FROM ROCKVILLE MD. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Jefferson was neutered on the second and will be available to be adopted after the 9th and is final vet check.

Jefferson is very much a puppy and very playful. He is happy and gentle except for his puppy exuberance. He likes all people of all sizes and very playful with all dogs. He can knock down small children he may be too much puppy for some other dogs. He is still learning.

At this time we do not know if he requires to be with another dog or an only dog. If with another dog. He lives with 3 other dogs in foster home. He plays with Lolly the 93 pound Blue Nose Pitbull and at time Jefferson is too much for her. Ninja and Saber are 11 year old dogs that spent most of their life in a garage. They have no patients for puppy energy an has to be kept apart from them.

We have many applications for Jefferson. I will review all application and request additional information from those we feel would be his best match

Dogs listed here come from different sources Some dog's owner have passed and their family could not care for their companion, some lifestyle has changed and a new home would be in the best interest of their companion. Some are foster dogs placed in our care by different rescue groups. Each dog may have a different process for adopting animals and charge different adoption fees.

You may be called by a volunteer, you may receive an email asking additional information or you may be requested to complete and Additional Information form. Please look our emails for further information. We are all volunteers so we will get to you as soon as we can.

We place dogs within a one hour drive from Rockville MD. we concentrate our adoptions in these areas only. With our limited resources, applications outside of our immediate service area will not be accepted, no exceptions. We take all animals to the home visit and meet and greet before they are adopted.
