Before reading the story of the dog down below, this is to invite you to attend our upcoming public adoption event that will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the PetSmart store in Fullerton from 01:00 PM to 06:00 PM or until all dogs are adopted whichever comes first. Multiple of wonderful rescue dogs will be shown at the event on a first-come-first-serve basis following our event's sign-in sheet. Please submit your adoption application online before coming to the event as we will not allow sign-in's without having an adoption application on-file. How does the process at our event works?

1- You must have your online adoption application submitted before attending our adoption event and signing in.

2- Sign-in

3- The event manager will call people following the sign-in sheet.

4- Review of the adoption application will be on-site accompanied by an in-person interview. To PetEmber the discretion in taking the adoption decision.

5- If approved, you will be asked to sign the adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee listed on the profile of the dog.

6- Take home will be the same day.

- Be sure to bring a valid ID.

Kindly, refrain from emailing the rescue as our email is constantly bombarded by so many inquiries. The best way to adopt a dog from us is by attending our event. The link to our adoption application is down in the description below.

Story:

Jeff and his siblings were rescued from Muscoy, CA. They were surrendered to the rescue at 5 weeks of age from a lady who needed help with spay of her dog. A friend of one of our volunteers called the rescue to ask if her neighbor can surrender a litter of puppies. The rescue sent a volunteer to pick up the puppies. One of the puppies had a huge cut on his head as the mom attacked him. The injured puppy was taken to a veterinarian. The veterinarian cleaned his wound and described him antibiotics. The rescue followed the instructions of the veterinarian and the wound healed.

During their stay with our foster, the puppies received up-to-date shots of vaccines (Parvo, distemper, adenovirus I, Adenovirus ii, Parainfluenza, and Bordtella) and their up-do-date boosters. They were dewormed and they received flea and tick control medication. The puppies are now 3 months of age.

The puppies are not spayed/neutered yet since they did not reach the age of sterility yet. The adopter must agree to spay/neuter the dog by 6 months of age.

We are looking for an adopter who will keep the dog inside and who will have the patience to give a lot of love to these neglected pups. You must be able to afford the monthly grooming expenses and never leave the dogs ungroomed.
