Jeb Jack Russell Terrier Mix Toronto, ON

Jeb is a happy go lucky boy who loves to play, loves people and loves to eat. He is bright, energetic and quick to learn any new task. It took him about four tries to figure out how stairs worked and once mastered he glides up and down with the greatest of ease. He loves toys and loves to toss them in the air and then do the kangaroo hop across the room to get them.

His nature is very gentle and when confronted with a dominant dog he is very submissive. He would love a busy household where there was lots of time for him and lots of interaction and other dogs if they are gentle. He loves to play but he is equally good at having rest time when you have to get things done.

His heart is pure gold and is very eager to please. He is doing wonderfully on his housetraining, but feeding must be done so you can time when he has to go. We feed him a large meal in the morning so he can do his toilet mid-morning and he has a snack at night. He is learning to go to the door, but he still needs direction at times, if he starts to pace time to say outside Jebbie and go toilet.

Jebbie loves to play fetch outside and will grab toys to make the other dogs chase him, and if they catch him he will give them the toy. He does need a backyard and wouldn't be suited for apartment life. He is pretty quiet most of the time, but if the singing begins he will join the choir and he has the most amazing voice.

He knows his basic commands of come, sit and stay and his reward for obeying is praise which he loves. He does like his crate at bedtime to sleep in and lots of big blankets to settle into. He sleeps through the night with no issues and will let you sleep in as late or as early as you want.

Jebbie Jeb is loving fostered in Angus and lives in a large pack and has made himself quite at home.
