Hi, I'm Jazz! I'm here in Tacoma waiting to find my forever home. My foster mom says that I waited a long time to come here while I did something called "heartworm treatment." Now that my heart is clear again, I can't wait to find a home where I can explore and enjoy life to my heart's content!

I am 1-3 years old and medium energy. I weigh about 50 pounds. I'm doing great with crate and house training. I live with a few other dogs right now. When we are out in the yard together, we can be "shared space" friends but so far I'm not super playful. When I'm in my crate eating my food or trying to rest, I don't really like if my dog roommates approach me. I growl to say "please back up!"

I would like to be either the only dog or have a mellow dog buddy who would be happy to share space with me. I haven't really met kids or cats, but foster mom says that she thinks they might be a little overwhelming for me right now. She says that I deserve to be the apple of my new family's eye!

I would love to go on long walks with you and maybe you can teach me some new stuff like how to fetch or how to do agility. I hope you want to come meet me!

Our adoption fee includes age appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping and transport expenses. Adoption fee is $475 to help offset travel and medical expenses.

All children at home should be at least age 5 to be approved for adoption!
