Jazz is a gentle and somewhat shy girl that loves head scratches, treats, and being outside!

Inside the house, Jazz is mostly a calm and mellow girl, finding a soft spot to lay down and collect her toys. Outside, she loves to run, dodge, and wrestle with other pups.

Jazz does not resource guard food from humans. However, she has shown light resource guarding behavior of food and humans when she feels she is competing with another dog. This is easily managed with a firm "no" and feeding her in a safe space. She is a sensitive girl and responds quickly to correction. She is more trusting of humans who crouch down to her level and tends to scoot away from people who approach her while standing upright.

Jazz walks wonderfully on a leash with a flat collar. She prefers a leisurely pace when taking a stroll. Scary sounds like the recycling truck have not fazed her one bit! She is crate trained but needs a little coaxing with the help of a tasty treat. She whines for a little bit but settles down quickly.

We would like to have Jazz adopted around the Baltimore area. She will come up to date on her shots and microchipped. She is not yet spayed, but we will pay the costs associated with the procedure at a facility we choose or approve.
