Meet Jaycee

Jaycee is a handsome cute 50 pound Lab mix boy who lived his entire ten year life as an unvetted outside dog. When his people, who did in their own way love him very much, had to move in with family, they had no place for Jaycee to go. To save him, Janice took him in. His first Vet appointment got him vaccinated and Heartworm tested. Positive for Heartworms and tickborne. Janice got him treated. A home was found for Jaycee and he was so happy there. But only for 3-4 months, until they decided to move and not take him with them. He went back to Janice. He was confused and upset and did have one bite incident with her. He bit her hand the second day back. Janice got him neutered and he has been a good boy ever since. Jaycee is good with other dogs and cats. He is somehow housetrained. A senior boy, but he does not feel he is old. He would really love a forever home of his own. If interested, please contact Bev at 804-248-3042.
