In a world of vast spaces, I seek the solace of a single lap, finding comfort in the warmth and embrace of a devoted companion. I'm Jaya, a 7 pound, 6+ year old female Yorkshire Terrier looking for my special place! I was released from breeding and now am free to learn to be a loving partner and companion. I don't know about house breaking or being on a leash, but with patience, structure and love, I know that I can begin to come out of my shell. I am brave survivor, who has endured unpleasantries that you will never know and I cannot explain. It takes a very special person to embark on the challenge of helping a pup like me transition from a puppy mill to a home, but it is likely to be a very rewarding experience for both of us. You will need to know that everything is new to me. So far I get along with other dogs, but I will likely be scared of new people and little ones. My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
