Jax is a great, beautiful, all around dog! He still has lots of puppy energy and is a very playful goofball, but is perfectly fine napping and calms down quickly, while his foster is working from home.
He is house trained, had no accidents in the house and will stay in the kennel if needed. But he would love to be your velcro dog and seeks your attention so he is happiest by your side.
Jax is quick to learn new things! We are working on basic commands and he would love to keep working on his training with his adopters! He has been working on sit, wait, heel and leash training so far. Jax is a shepherd mix so he is somewhat protective and will bark from time to time to alert you about a suspicious neighbor or Fedex driver ?
Jax has been good with other dogs and is eager to meet them! His perfect home would be a person or family who is semi active, will work on his training and will take him for adventures or with one person being at home, as he doesn't like to be separated.
He has been very good for car rides! We are recommending no little kids in the home because he doesn't know his own size and power when he plays! Jax loves his squeaky toys, balls and tug of war and he is a snuggle bug and loves to relax on the couch with you!
