Meet Jary | 7 Years Young | 55 lbs of Sweetness & Second Chances

Joyful, gentle, and so grateful for her second shot at life, Jary is absolutely thriving in her foster home! This calm, affectionate 7-year-old beauty - with her soft beige and brindle coat - is happiest when she's cuddled up next to her foster parents, resting her head on their laps, soaking up belly rubs, and getting her coat gently brushed.

Jary gets along wonderfully with the small dogs in her foster home - though she does have a bit of a mischievous streak! She's been known to "borrow" their toys and claim their beds as her own. She also recently welcomed her fosters' three adult sons with calm curiosity, choosing to relax nearby, and she's shown she's just as sweet with visiting children.

She especially loves her walks - she's working on her leash skills and getting better every day.

Jary is a smart, eager-to-please girl who responds beautifully to love and attention. She's almost fully house-trained and is doing best for now in her ultra-secure crate (think: Alcatraz for dogs).

Ideal Home:
Jary would love a calm, patient home with another friendly dog her size to show her the ropes. Because she's curious and can be a little adventurous, she must have a yard with a tall, secure fence to keep her safe as she explores. She'd thrive in a family that will continue her training with gentle guidance, and she's wonderful with both other dogs and respectful children. With time and love, she'll blossom into the confident, loyal companion she was meant to be.

If you and the dog are a good match then we'll connect you with our dog's foster parents to chat more in-depth. If both you and the foster agree that the dog is a good fit then a meet and greet is scheduled. We require applicants' dogs to meet ours to ensure they get along. We'll ask you to read and sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee to complete the adoption when it comes time. Our adoption fees help cover the costs of saving more lives! A home visit will be scheduled within one week of your new pet going home with you.

DAPP vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.

Rabies vaccinations as age-appropriate for the dog.

Adopters shall be responsible for all vaccinations after adoption.

Our adoption process is:

1. Fill out our Adoption Application online. We'll contact you within 48 hours to answer any questions you may have about the pet.

2. If the pet looks like a great match, we'll schedule a meet and greet and ask you to fill out our online Adoption Agreement if you'd like to proceed with adopting. Once you've completed the Adoption Agreement and pay the pet's Adoption Fee, you can arrange to pick up your new furry family member!
