Jarma Mixed Breed Thompson's Station, TN

Jarma is an approximately 7 week old mixed breed pup that currently weighs 6 pounds. Jarma is one of 10 pups born to a wonderful pointer type mix named Rosie. Rosie is about 65 pounds and the sweetest of dogs. We anticipate her pups will be of similar size when grown. They look to have a variety of colors and mixes in there so we are going with mixed breed.
Jarma loves any toy that crinkles, although she's not completely sure about those squeaker toys yet. She loved playing in the snow - loved eating the snowman's nose even more - she's a perfect blend of curious and intelligent.
Both Jarma and her sibling Curry are rock stars at potty training. These sweet puppies are whip smart and already working on some basic training commands. They sleep through the night like champions but are so excited to greet you in the morning with lots of wags and kisses. They enjoy exploring the outdoors, although they clearly haven't worked out why the birds fly away from them and don't want to play. They get along great with their foster siblings, including two adult dogs and four cats, and love playing tug and chasing balls with their humans. When play time is over, both puppies like to settle in for a snuggle and a nap. They are doing great with car rides and social skills. Jarma will be ready for her forever home after receiving second puppy shots March 11. We would love to have homes liined up for the pups!

Jarma is up to date on shots and preventatives and is microchipped. She will be adopted with a spay agreement due to her size and age. Jarma's adoption fee is $250 plus any additional donation you feel appropriate. Our adoption fee is set to a level to make adoptions happen. They do not cover our costs. All dogs adopted locally through SGDR receive a free six-week session of obedience classes and a lifetime of behavior support through our Project REWARD program with trainer Charlotte Blake.
