If you’re looking for a dog who embodies pure joy and unconditional love, Jango is your guy! This sweet affectionate boy has a heart as big as his playful personality. When he sees people his whole-body wiggles with excitement, not just his tail! Jango is a social butterfly and loves the company of people, as well as his friends in his playgroup. All 16 of them love romping around in the yards. But despite all that energy, he has a gentle side too. Jango takes treats with the utmost care and already knows how to sit and lay on command. Walking with Jango is also a breeze, as he’s fantastic on a leash.
Jango’s journey hasn’t been easy. He was abandoned in New Mexico, but you’d never know it from his cheerful spirit and endless capacity for love. Despite his past, he’s ready to leave it behind and focus on his bright future with a family who’s dedicated to him as much as he is to them.
This loveable wiggle-butt is a hug giving pro and will melt your heart with his excited eyes. He’s always ready for adventure but equally happy, soaking up all the love and attention you can offer. A note about adopting animals from the Houston, TX area: Based on statistics, animals from this area are ranked some of the most desperate in the US. Euthanasia rates are incredibly high for both puppies and adult dogs. While this dog is protected in our care, there are many others waiting for their opportunity to enter a program like this one and be given a second chance.

Available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Our dogs are brought to you in transport buses, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. Our Adoption Coordinator will help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee ranges for those being transported and is $75 for those being picked up at our Angleton, Tx location. It covers the cost of transport and includes all vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, micro-chipping, a collar, and many years of laughs and love to come!

We know our dogs very well and have spent countless hours with them, learning all of their quirks and goofy personalities. We have a team of dedicated animal care professionals that work day in and day out to bring every Little Hero out of their shell. From the moment they are accepted into our program we provide behavior & medical care to prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally training, and providing social enrichment. We provide socialization for our dogs through playgroups and one on one bonding time, where we will also work on their other skills such as leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts and just want someone to be understanding with them, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
By adopting from us, you save TWO lives at once. The dog you adopt and the dog that will be replaced in their spot to continue on the same path!
