JAMES BOND has come a long way since he was first rescued by NMDOG - a shy, elusive, street smart guy...JAMES gave us all a areal run for our money & lets just say, he earned his name! JAMES has since settled into the "Rescue Life" & decided life on the run isnt all its cracked up to be. He has discovered what it means to be safe, treasured & loved.....he says he will stick with that, thank you very much. But he still longs for a FoReVeR home with a Family to call his very own. JAMES BOND deserves this & all of the good that comes with being a valued Family member.

JAMES BOND is shy at first, but with a little time, patience & gentle kindness...you are guaranteed to win his heart. & when JAMES gives his heart, he gives it 110%! JAMES BOND is a sensitive boy with a silly, goofy side & he loves making his people smile. What JAMES is given, he returns 10fold, with all of the love in his heart. He loves going for walks in the Bosque & he walks perfectly on his leash & harness. He enjoys car rides for PupCups, a good movie in front of the fireplace on a warm winters night & sleeping in on the weekends. JAMES BOND is houstrained, cratetrained & likes to be brushed. Hes good at the groomer & behaves like a PERFECT gentleman inside of the home. Its time that JAMES BOND finds his FoReVeR soft spot in the world so he can settle into the best years of his life. He is 7 years old now & hes been waiting long enough. JAMES BOND will do best in a home as the only pup & your BFF, or with a gentle & playful female Dog friend.

ALL NMDOG ADOPTION FEES ARE CURRENTLY WAIVED & all of our approved placements include: a full medical & behavioral clearance prior to adoption & a complimentary vet wellness check. Our dogs come with all of the supplies they need to get started on a trial adoption in their new home & more! All adopted dogs also receive other free or discounted goodies & services from many of our awesome community partners.  

NMDOG doesn't cut any corners when it comes to the care & placement of our dogs. When a dog enters the NMDOG program, they are guaranteed to receive the very best of care. They are (at the very minimum) spayed or neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested + they are currently on heartworm & flea/tick preventative. Due to the nature of our work, many of the dogs we rescue need much more extensive care before they are cleared for adoption. We also offer hands-on continued training support as needed, for all of our dogs (& their peeps!) at no additional charge!
