Jake Husky & Siberian Husky Mix Boulder, CO

Jake was recently saved after his owner went to jail and he ended up in a kill Shelter in California where he wasn't doing well. He is a chill senior husky mix that just wants some love and some walks.

He is overweight and could use some weight loss. This has caused him to have some arthritis, so he must go to a home dedicated to providing him daily walks and helping him shed some pounds.

He is good on leash and good with other dogs. He knows sit and shake and he is house trained. Jake loves his crate and sleeps through the night. We've discovered he loves playing fetch and chewing on benebones! Jake is good with older kids: he has some sensitivity around his face & neck, as long as the children understand this, he loves any additional attention he can get!

He loves to give his paw and ask for more pets. He is great with males and females. Oh, and he absolutely loves car rides!
