Jake Black Labrador Retriever Mix Queenstown, MD

Jake is a 7-month-old male black lab mix. He is a Velcro dog and a great snuggler! He loves his toys, other dogs, cats, and kids too. Jake has some anxiety and needs either a home with a doggy friend, or a family who won’t leave him alone for long periods of time. But he is sweet as can be and will likely become more confident in his FURever home.

“Timid baby at first and an observer before he begins to warm up. My easiest foster baby thus far. Great with kids and dogs. He has warmed up to my husband after a few days. Jake will need patience with learning new familiar men. He had zero problems cuddling with my husband (after 4 days of exposure), Jake even greeted him today with a happy happy tail after work!

Potty trained (but does need to be let out on a frequent basis), crate trained, loves a nice tuck in with his blanket, sits, paws, and lays down. Jake loves snuggles, lacrosse balls, and plenty of affirmations. Jake loves my 2.5-year-old black lab female. He looks to her a lot just to help him through any unknown situations. Such a phenomenal, handsome, and lovable pup!”
