JAKE Coonhound Mix BRIGHTON, MA

ULTRA HANDSOME ALERT! Brighton, MA : Jake is a 2 year old Black and Tan coonhound mix. He’s a big boy weighing in at 85 lbs, but has the biggest heart to match it. He is sweet, loving and loves to eat and go for long walks. Jake has been in the city for 8 months and has decided that his true home is in the country, where it’s quiet and a bit calmer than the hustle and bustle of Boston, since at times he can have a lot of anxiety around all the moving cars and city life. He enjoys walks but definitely likes to be independent and at times stubborn so he will also do best in a home where he can spend most of his time outside in an enclosed fenced area to play and run around freely. Jake will also do best with someone that has no children and does not expect that to change and someone who has some experience with big dogs who have faced some trauma in their past. Although Jake has been through many homes at this point we believe that with the right fit, Jake will hit the lottery and find his forever home.
