Jake Boxer Mix New Albany, OH
- Adoption fee
I have quiet time in my crate at night and when my foster isnt home. Sometimes I try to sing the cry of absolute pitifulness but if you wait just a few minutes I quiet down.
I love to play ball and Frisbee. My foster is teaching me to drop toys and wait till I get an enthusiastic ok to go chase after the toy. I can leap 24 inches straight up off the ground. While it looks cool and some laugh, it is not safe and my foster is teaching me down. The same is true when anyone is getting out a treat or my food. Im learning to sit and be patient instead of my enthusiastic jumping in the air.
When I approach other dogs, Im not certain what to do so sometimes I put my front paws up in the air. Again, my foster is teaching me to keep my feet down and walk up and say Hi with sniffs. I was secluded at home during COVID, so I didnt get to go out and take walks and explore. I am learning about the world and will turn around to check out new sounds. If you label the sounds and redirect me with lets go I follow your lead.
Since Im young and big, Im best around older children/teens. Im looking to bond with my new person it could be you! My adoption fee is $375, apply today at rescuedohio.org.
