Jake German Shepherd Dog & Black Labrador Retriever Mix Philomath, OR

Jake is a young exuberant three year old with lots of energy. He is a Shepherd/ Lab mix with possible Border Collie. He weighs about 65-70 pounds, and has lanky legs. Jake loves walks and people, good with some dogs, and not so good with others? ...he is also very playful. He is a little rusty on his obedience training, does know his "sit" command, is very eager to please and would be a great companion for outdoor activities.
He tends to jump up, so small children probably would not be a good fit, but older children would. Getting some more training with his adoptive parents would be great for bonding, as he is eager to please. He rides well in the car and was previously trained to not ride on the seat, just settles in.
He is not particularly food motivated, but does have gentle food manners. We have not had him in our home ( through no fault of his own, but our own female is reactive) , but he previously lived in an apartment. He is current on his all his vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Jake's adoption fee will be $200. Would he make a great addition to your family??
