Jake Maltese & Poodle Mix Mount Airy, NC

Hi I'm Jake, its nice to meet you. A little about me, let see.....I am 7 years young and I weigh 15.9 pounds. I was told I am a Maltipoo which is a cross between a Maltese and a Poodle. All I really know is that I am adorable!!!

I had a home for 7 years but in the past couple years I developed a condition called Pancreatitis. I've never really said this out loud but when I get stressed or eat something I shouldn't I get diarrhea. My human mom tried to care for me but she said I would get better care in a different home. I understand that so I am waiting for my new people to come adopt me.

I did go to a new home with two great people and their dog. They really liked me and I got along great with their dog. Unfortunately they had to bring me back because I was talking too much to the neighbors dogs. You see they had a corner lot with a great iron fenced yard. I could see all the people with their dogs walking by and I just wanted to let them know that this was my yard now. I got a little too big for my britches and I snapped at a puppy that was trying to tell me that they yard belonged to my sister. Well I guess I took that one too far.
I heard them saying that I would do better with a solid fence when I am outside or be at a house that wasn't so close to the neighbors. I would do better with older children and I am good with other dogs.

I love to give my humans kisses on the lips and it is so much fun to play with them when they pretend they are dogs too.

I do good when I am kept on my special diet food and not given any people food, although I do like the people food, I don't like for it to give me a belly ache.
