Meet Jak
Poor Jak came to us after his owner passed away. He is 9 years old and pretty lazy. Although when he gets attached he tends to like to follow you around. He has been around kids 6 and up (that are calm around him) and he has done very well. But I would truly love to find him a quiet home where he can just love his new life. He definitely misses his momma. He was protective over his yard with some people. But I believe it was just to protect his mom and home. We have kept him in the office to get used to seeing strangers, and them being nice and giving treats. He barks on occasion upon entrance but calms once he sees there's no harm. He gets along with some dogs and is perfect around cats.
