Shhhh…Jade, did you hear that? With those sweet ears, of course, you did! Meet Jade - a 7-month-old Shepherd mix who currently weighs about 45 lbs and is expected to be a medium-sized dog when fully grown. Jade has the sweetest face and the cutest ears you could ever imagine. Some say she is all ears!

Jade has come such a long way since being rescued. Initially, Jade was reserved and nervous around new people, but after just a few days in her loving foster home, Jade has learned to trust and has made the realization that she is safe - and now her personality has begun to shine through!

Once Jade gets to know you, she is spunky and goofy. Jade gets along wonderfully with other dogs as well as cats, but she really loves to be around her people. Jade loves affection more than anything in the world and will express her love for you by smothering you in kisses and leaning into you with all of her heart. Jade thinks she is a total lap dog and will curl up next to you (or on top of you!) at every opportunity. Jade also loves to play and happily prances around with a squeaky toy or curls up on her bed to chew on an antler or nylabone.

Jade works each and every day on her leash training skills and has been making great improvements. Jade loves to go on nice long walks where she can greet the neighbors, stop to smell the roses, say hello to the squirrels, and go on about her day. Jade not only loves to meet all new people now, she also loves to meet other dogs and even have play dates from time to time. Jade also thinks having a kitty friend would be so much fun!

Jade is a sucker for treats and aims to please her people, so training and learning new tricks will be a breeze with this girl. Jade also loves to sunbathe and soak up the beautiful sun, or on rainy days she loves to lay in her bed next to the window and observe. Jade has also recently discovered that she loves the snow and bounds happily through the snow drifts when she is on a walk!
