Jacques is a smart and playful young lad around 4 years old who loves scratches and belly rubs. Jacques has been doing excellent with his training, he is very focused and easy to work with. He knows the sit, down, wait, stay and come commands and will politely walk on a loose leash.

Jacques can get overstimulated when there are other dogs, cats or little critters around. He has a tendency to bark at other dogs through the fence. We have been working on helping him keep calm when he sees other dogs, cats or taunting squirrels since they can get him quite riled up. He has been improving, but Jacques does best in an environment that is not chaotic or busy.

If you're looking for a friend to play fetch with, get puppy kisses from, snuggle with, and give belly rubs to, please look no further! Although Jacques requires an adult only home, he is a very sweet dog who would love a person or people to call his own.

Jacques would do well with an experienced owner in a quiet and calm home where he can relax, feel comfortable, and preferably be the only pet. We are continuing his training and hope that a forever home will come along that is just the right fit for this boy!
