Jackson's (Formerly Bud) family is relocating and are unable to take him and his brother Watson with them. Their family is making the difficult decision to rehome them and we are here to help. They are a bonded pair and will be adopted together.

Jackson is a Great Pyrenees snuggle bear! He is super affectionate and will love anyone who can pet him. He loves being outside and going on walks! He is obedient to some commands. He is great in the car and in hotels. He is slightly fearful of abandonment and sometimes eats food or paper goods left on counters, so he must be caged upon leaving the house. Loves playing with other dogs and plays peacemaker in the dog park. Not sure about cats, although he leaves them alone from afar. Would do best in a home without children under 5, but does great with all kids when outside. A truly wonderful addition to any home! He requires a securely fenced yard connected to an exit door of the home, fence must be at least 4 feet high, no invisible fences.

Jackson is 4 years old. His current weight is around 115 pounds.

All members of the household need to meet the dog you are interested in. Vet records for any current or previous pets need to be provided. If all goes well, home visits are done prior to adoption, and you must be within reasonable distance for that to be accomplished.
