Jacks's Story

Meet Jacks – 100% certified mutt with equal parts love, laughter, and 'what is he doing now?'

Jacks is working on his house manners, but in his defense, no one told him that you didn't need help untying your shoes! His ideal home is a place where he can play hard and nap harder! A dog sibling would be cool, but not required – he’s got enough personality to fill the whole house! He is friendly towards everyone but would do best in a home without young children - his enthusiasm can be a bit too much for tiny humans as he’s still working on keeping his paws and mouth to himself. He has done well with cats who are accustomed to being around dogs.

So why adopt Jacks? Because life is ruff, but it’s a whole lot better with a dog who thinks every day is the best day ever, especially if you’re in it.

Jacks was originally selected to be trained as a service dog for his incredible temperament, but most dogs do not meet all criteria so he is now available for adoption as a pet - lucky you!

Jacks is about 1.5 years old and weighs around 46 pounds. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He’s ready and waiting for his furever home!

His adoption fee of $300 includes 2 private sessions with one of our trainers to help him start off on the right paw.

For more information, to set up a meet and greet, or to submit an adoption application, go to https://www.medicalmutts.org/adopt-a-pet-dog

You can also meet our adoptable dogs in person at our adoption events from 10am–12pm on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month at 6120 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46220.
