Jackie Black Labrador Retriever Mix Springfield, MO

In the depths of uncertainty, I wandered astray, but in the embrace of serendipity, I found my way. My name is Jackie. I am an almost 4-year-old, 80-ish-pound Black Lab mix gal. Boy do I have a story to tell you! You see, I was lost and wandering around Crane, Missouri when I came across this group of thirty women who were attending a retreat. I decided they looked like fun, so I decided to attach myself to the group. We did yoga. We ate great food. We cold plunged in the creek. It was amazing! After unsuccessfully trying to find my owner, one of the gals took me home and is now my foster mom.

I am now house broken, crate and leash trained! I sleep next to my foster mom's bed all night and have stayed in a crate up to 4 hours. So far I haven't chewed on anything that wasn't mine and I love going for walks! Commands I know include "sit", "down", "kennel" and "go get your ball." I am a very smart girl! My squeaker ball is my favorite! Oddly, I am not a fan of peanut butter, but really like liver flavored treats in my Kong. My nature is playful, loving and affectionate. I get along with other dogs my size, and with kiddos of all ages. I haven't met any cats yet, but I can be cat tested if needed.

My forever home needs a privacy fenced yard for me to run and play in. I would like to be part of an active family that will take me on adventures to dog friendly places. I like riding in cars, and I LOVE playing in the water. I would make a great lake or river companion. If you think I would be a good addition to your family, I would love to meet you.

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!
